To join Weight Watchers online, you need to visit their website, WeightWatchers.com. You will choose a payment plan. There are two available. The first plan is the 3-month plan that costs $65 for the first three months. Then it changes to $16.95 a month. You must commit to 13 weeks. The standard plan is based on a one-month commitment. You pay $46.90 and then it changes to $16.95 after the first month. It's easy to see that the 3-month plan is a better deal.
Once you select a payment plan then you will complete a health profile. Next, you will fill out the payment information and the acceptance of the subscription agreement. That's all you need to do.
With your online membership, you will get weekly progress charts, a POINTS calculator if you choose the Flex Plan, recipe builder, activity tracker, food tracker, videos on exercise, restaurant guides, access to the community message boards, and admission to the online store.

Joining at a Meeting
You can also join Weight Watchers by going to a meeting in your area. Check online for meeting places or ask around. Weight Watchers has 44,000 meetings across the nation and world. You should be able to find one near your home. One of the best ways to join at a meeting is to take a friend and join together. The concept of Weight Watchers is to use support for greater motivation. You can attend the first meeting free and either observe or join the discussion. The meetings run 30 to 45 minutes. After the meeting, there is a Getting Started Session, which goes over the program. If you join at this time, you will receive the first week of program materials.
Weight Watchers also has eTools for members. This is an online companion to the regular meetings. In the first week of materials, there is an access code. Use this to join the online companion to the meetings. This is a separate subscription of $12.95 a month, or you can do the 3-month plan for $29.95 a month.
