Learn the Meaning of Reiki Symbols "CHO-KU-RAY" and "SEI HEI KI"

Reiki symbols
In this article you will learn the meaning of two reiki symbols. These two important traditional reiki symbols and words are used to send vital energy for healing yourself or others. In reiki certain symbols and words are used to focus the attention and energy needed to heal a person. Here are the meanings of two of the most used and relevant reiki symbols.
CHO-KU-RAY
This is one of the symbols of Reiki (sounds like: choh-koo-ray). It is a power symbol. It means “I have the key.” It refers to having the key for healing with Reiki energy. CHO-KU-RAY is an all-purpose symbol. Basically, it is used increase to healing abilities of the practitioner and it is said to attract Reiki energy from the Universal source. The symbol is very simple to use. The practitioner draws the symbol with his hands over the person who needs to be healed or the person who needs the energy (it can be yourself) and pronounces three times the words CHO-KU-RAY.
SEI HEI KI
(pronounced: say-hay-key)
It is called the mental/emotional symbol in Reiki. It means “the key of the Universe.” It is mainly used to heal mental and emotional issues on people. It is also used to eliminate bad or unhealthy habits such as tobacco, food and/or drug addictions. It removes negative energies from the body and protect the body from negative forces. It is basically used to equilibrate the person emotionally.
