Britney’s Diet

Britney Spears is said to follow a raw diet. This includes items like seaweed and lots of veggies. She doesn’t eat sugar, and has even been reported to say that she eats little fruit or fruit juice due to the sugar content. Britney has also been reported to be following the South Beach Diet. This is a popular diet that is based on the principle of replacing unhealthy fat and carbohydrates with healthier versions. She has also talked about eating half of everything on her plate in order to exercise better portion control.

Britney Spears has some good ideas for a healthy diet that would be great to try. The South Beach Diet is a really healthy diet, whether or not your goal is to lose weight. If you’re interested in a diet book, this is a good one. A lot of people are eating raw these days, but if that’s a little extreme for you, why not just try a few more raw plant-based foods. A variety of raw fruits and vegetables are a great way to eat. Britney’s idea of cutting back on sugar is good, but I wouldn’t suggest that anyone stop eating fruits. While fruit juices are high in sugar, whole fruits are a very healthy food source. They are high in fiber and contain little to no fat. Cutting out whole food groups is never a good idea. Britney’s idea of eating half the food on your plate is a good guide if portion control is a problem for you.

Britney’s Workout

Britney Spears has a pretty intense workout. She does 4 to 5 sessions of cardiovascular exercise as well as an hour of yoga or pilates. She also adds 30 minutes of strength training and a bunch of abdominal exercises. This is a pretty grueling workout that might be a little much for the average person. If you’d like to give a Britney Spears diet and exercise program a try, however, you can develop a similar workout at home. Go ahead and do a cardio session followed by a yoga or pilates class. Just work at your level.

You might need to start with 30 minutes of cardio followed by 30 minutes of yoga instead of an hour of each. I would suggest strength training 2-3 times a week, and forget the reported 1,000 stomach crunches that Britney is rumored to fit in each day. It’s not even worth the effort, and won’t give you a flat stomach anyway. Spot reduction doesn’t work. If there is still a layer of fat over the muscle, you’ll build the muscle, but won’t see it due to the fat. Instead, try several core exercises, but forget those high numbers of reps. Actually, if you’re doing pilates, this may be all you need.
