One of the favorite products served at this restaurant is the famous BLT, 12" Super Stacked Sandwich. Unfortunately this sandwich does not rate good on the calorie scale. It gives you a whopping 1280 calories, 82 g of total fat, 110 mg of cholesterol and 2280 mg of sodium. Definitively not a good choice for your healthy food needs. Add to that a soda and it gets worse.
Another favorite is the Meatball 12" Blimpie sandwich. This one is great in flavor but also great in calories. A total of 1170 calories, 59 g total fat, 150 mg of cholesterol and almost 4 grams of sodium.

Are there any healthy choices of food at Blimpie?
A Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich gives you 410 calories and a Club Sandwich, 360 calories. But if really want to get healthy food at Blimpie, you have to go for their salads or soups.
A chili soup (cooked beef in a blend of small red beans, kidney beans, onions, celery, green peppers, green chilies, jalapeno peppers, red peppers and spices) has 250 calories and only 9 g of fat. A minestrone soup serving has only 90 calories, and 3 g of fat, no cholesterol and only 1.1 g of sodium.
