Acne and Homeopathy

Acne is a very common skin disease where the skin develops blackheads, whiteheads, or red or yellow spots and becomes greasy. It can be a disfiguring condition that can affect anyone of any age or gender. Acne occurs mainly in the face but it can also crop up on the neck, back, chest and shoulders. There are many kinds of treatment for acne problem. Acne granites natural treatment is a homeopathic remedy meant for those who prefer a natural remedy for their acne problem. This treatment method has been reported by many people to be very effective in getting rid of acne.

Making the Granite Solution

Using granite rocks to treat acne may seem like a very unusual method. The active ingredient that makes this treatment work is silica. Granite rocks are rich in silica and contain minerals with abundant silicon, sodium and potassium (Shipman et al, 2007). The silica helps in fighting acne by breaking down the toxins in the body and then removing them. Silica supplements are generally available at the drugstore or health food stores. However, it is best to break up pure granite rock by oneself and prepare the silica solution. Silica is a mineral which is obtained from silicon dioxide that occurs naturally in flint, quartz, granite and sandstone. Silica can be prepared at home using red granite and white, soft, semi-transparent pebbles. The rocks must be dried well under the sun. Then, the granite stone is taken along with the pebbles and placed on a clean metal surface. They are then powdered by beating them with a hammer. The powder is added to one liter of mineral water taken in a clear bottle. The bottle is well shaken for at least ten minutes and the rocks are allowed to settle down. One third of this liquid is poured out. This liquid is the main solution used in acne granites natural treatment. People suffering from acne are given two drops of this solution to drink three times a day and users have reported that this treatment is effective and results may be observed within two days. The dosage may be increased if no visible results can be had within two days.

Using the Sediment

The sediment at the bottom of the bottle may be mixed with 1000 mg of uncoated aspirin and used as local application to get rid of acne. Some skin specialists recommend adding a tablespoon of mother-of-pearl and a few drops of hot mustard to this local application of granite and aspirin. It is best to apply this paste to the face thrice a day for a few minutes before rinsing it. After rinsing, the face must be moisturized well using a strong moisturizer.
