The Benefits of Fever Therapy: Learn How The Germans Use Fever Therapy To Cure Cancer
What Is Fever Therapy?
While many people spend time in saunas sweating the pounds away, most of them are just doing it as a way to boost weight loss. In addition, hitting the sauna at the gym is a great way to detox the body. The extra sweating helps rid the body of toxins and waste that have not yet been eliminated, improves blood circulation and destroys viruses. The increased temperatures also speed up metabolism, prevent bacteria from growing and accelerate the healing process.
A more pro active way of increasing the body temperature is a bit more drastic than sitting in the sauna. It is called fever therapy and the body’s temperature is actually raised quickly to induce a fever. This type of therapy must be closely monitored by a health practitioner. Complications such as headaches, nausea or pulmonary embolisms can occur and must be treated immediately and the fever therapy discontinued if they do. People that have hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, heart conditions, are prone to developing blood clots or are pregnant or nursing should not attempt fever therapy.
Fever Therapy & Cancer
The high fever is usually induced by injecting bacteria into the patient. The fever will hit quickly this way and will last for about three hours. This process increases the activity in the cells and initiates the immune system to begin working. At the same time, the increased body temperature destroys the harmful bacteria that are in the body. This type of therapy can be effective in treating certain conditions such as cancer, skin infections, allergies and respiratory infections, arthritis and intestinal diseases. Studies are being done that are trying to prove that people who experience repeated fevers have less incidents of cancer due to the fevers stimulating the immune system and preventing the cancer from developing and that inducing high temperatures in the body can cure cancer. This treatment for cancer is already widely used in Germany as the cancer cells can not withstand the high temperatures and die but the healthy cells can withstand the heat for short periods of time.
