What are Gallstones and What Causes Them?

With these alarming statistics, it’s no wonder people are searching for a safe alternative. Gallstones are formed as a result of an imbalance in the body among the elements that make up bile, such as bile salts, blood lipids, bilirubin, fatty acids, phospholipids, water and electrolytes. Most gallstones contain blood lipids, bile, salts, inorganic calcium and other minerals. It is when the bile becomes super-saturated with blood lipids, that gallstones can form. People are not typically aware of the existence of gallstones because they can grow slowly (a few millimeters per year). There may be a period of several years before a person becomes aware of symptoms of gallstone distress. There are many factors involved in the formation of gallstones, such as poor diet (especially eating fried foods or foods with hydrogenated oil and refined oils- even olive oil), infection, , obesity, nutritional deficiencies, estrogen dominance and lack of sufficient water intake (dehydration).

Why Do a Liver and Gallbladder Cleanse?

Having over 600 functions, the liver is the most important organ we have for disease prevention. It is the filter of the body, filtering more than one quarter of our blood every minute. If the liver becomes congested it cannot properly perform the cleansing that is vitally important for the blood.

According to Gabriel Cousens, MD, it is estimated that over twenty million Americans have gallstones. The primary job of the gallbladder is to secrete bile. Bile is then used to neutralize and carry out poisons as well as to aid in the digestion process. Throughout history it has commonly been thought that the single most important thing a person can do to improve health is to purify the liver and gallbladder.

Cleansing the Liver and Gallbladder

Gabriel Cousens, MD offers a gallbladder cleanse that will typically flush 20 - 100 stones during the first flush. This is a safe and non-painful process. An entire kit for a 6 week program is available through The Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center and will cost roughly $450, a small price to pay in comparison to the many diseases that will not be avoided if the liver and gallbladder cannot do their job properly. You can contact The Tree of Life Center at 520-394-2520 x223. You will not find a better way to flush these vital organs!
