Inner Thigh Exercise

One great tip on how to get rid of cellulite is by exercising target problem areas. In many cases, the inner thighs are the hardest places to eliminate cellulite, so you’ll want to target these areas.

Prevention Magazine recommends working cellulite on the inner thighs by performing a pillow squeeze. Sit on a chair with your rump hanging halfway off the seat. Prop a pillow between your legs. Use your inner leg muscles to squeeze the pillow as hard as possible and hold for a minute. Release and squeeze again as many times as possible, up to five within one set.

Back Thigh Exercise

Women often get rippled cellulite that curves in a cheek shape right beneath the buttocks. This can be embarrassing in a swimsuit or sports outfit. Doing back of the thigh exercises can rid your body of such cellulite and give you the confidence to put that suit back on - without a cover up.

Perform a seated bridge on a stable chair with no wheels. Sit on the edge of the chair and grasp the front edges with your hands. Sit up so your bottom does not touch the chair. Lift your hips so your legs are at a 90-degree angle and hold this position for up to a minute. Do this move two or three times.

Lunges

Work the cellulite on all sides of your legs and rump by performing lunges. You can do this exericse with or without free weights or dumbbells in your hands.

Put on a pair of shoes and stand in an open area. Bend one leg to a 90-degree angle in front of you and bend the other to a 90-degree angle behind you. Hold this position for five seconds, then switch legs. Hold light weights at your sides for an additional arm workout, if desired.

Cardio Exercise

Most vigorous cardio exercise can help you successfully get rid of cellulite. Depending on where you live, you might consider running around a track, speed walking on the sidewalk, running the treadmill at the gym, or sprinting short distances. The more effort you put forth in your cardio workout, the better results you’ll have. Change up the pace by performing the above exercises at intervals with cardio routines.

Drink Water While You Exercise

Drinking water helps women get rid of a lot of bodily ailments, and cellulite is no exception. Instead of drinking a diet shake while you exercise, fill up a bottle of water with a little ice and sip on that instead. True, it’s not as tasty, but it adds exactly zero fat and calories to your body. And that’s the whole reason you’re exercising in the first place, right?

According to homeexercisecoach.com, water retention is one of the biggest reasons women have cellulite. When you drink more water, it’s not retained - it’s processed and eliminated. This will amplify your workout routine and enable you to achieve better success with thigh exercises.
