For example, An order of Grilled Pacific Salmon contains only 150 calories, 5 grams of fat and 2 carbs. The sodium content for this entrée is 440 mgs, not bad for a fast food fish dish that offers you 24 grams of protein. If you prefer a white fish, Long John Silver’s also offers a Grilled Tilapia with half approximately half the fat carbs and sodium of the salmon with virtually the same amount of protein.

Even more pleasing was the fact that there are nutritious sides to choose instead of fried foods. At only 50 calories, and only 2 grams of fat, the vegetable medley seems a perfect accompaniment to the either grilled fish, although with a sodium content of 360 mgs, the Tilapia would be a better fit, if sodium was a dietary concern. This side has 8 grams of carbohydrate, but with 3 grams of fiber, your net carbs are only 5 gms. making this a viable compliment to your fish.
