Bioinformatics more properly refers to the creation of algorithms, computational and statistical techniques to solve different practical problems arising from the analysis of biological data.
Computation Biology as its very name suggests, means using computers to find solutions to biological questions and problems. The Common factor in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology is the use of math techniques to extract useful information.
