"As Seen on TV" Exercise Equipment

Admit it, we've all been tempted to order at least one piece of as seen on tv exercise equipment. They all look so interesting, and you can't help but think you'll end up looking like one of those models they show using the equipment. We start out with some larger than life expectations, so it's no wonder that we're usually disappointed. Most of the claims can be a little over the top, but there are a few good ones out there. Here's a little more about some good ones that target the hips and thighs.

    The Thigh Master

This one is a classic. Most of us have watched Suzanne Somers with her famous thigh master more than once on late night tv. This device is supposed to tighten the inner thigh area. The thigh master won't slim your inner thighs, but it can help tone the inner thigh muscle. You'll need some cardio and a healthy diet to burn excess fat. Spot reduction is a myth. It doesn't work. Still, if you want a way to strengthen the inner thigh muscles, go ahead and give the thigh master a try. It's cheap, easy to use, and a fairly good muscle toning device.

    The Mini Stepper Stair Climber

The Mini Stepper comes with resistance bands that let you work your upper body as you do a stair climbing workout. The Mini Stepper provides a cardio workout along with simultaneous toning for the hips and thighs. You'll get a total body workout when you use the resistance bands too. The great thing is that it fits easily under your bed. The price is very reasonable too. You can have the Mini Stepper for under $60. If you have limited space, this could be the best piece of exercise equipment for you.

    The Leg Magic

The Leg Magic is a cool-looking piece of as seen on tv exercise equipment. It provides a lateral gliding motion and promises to tone the hips and thighs in just a few minutes a day. The device costs around $130, so it's not cheap. It will tone the lower body, but keep in mind that you'll need to follow the included diet program and add some cardio to your workout routine to see optimal results.
