    • Blueberries
    • Cream Cheese
    • White Sandwich Bread

When completed, this little gems will have a layered effect, but you will have to be certain to spread the cream cheese all the way to the edges of the bread, and add the fruit all the way to the edges as well.

Start with one slice of bread on the bottom. Spread on the cream cheese. Layer with strawberries. Add another bread slice. Spread cream cheese on top. Layer with blueberries. Add another slice of bread. Spread cream cheese on top. Layer with strawberries. Add another bread slice. Spread with cream cheese. Layer with blueberries. Add the final bread slice on top. Fourth of July Pinwheels

    Ingredients:

    • Ritz Crackers
    • Cream Cheese
    • Blueberries
    • Strawberries Cut Into Small Pieces (about the size of a blueberry)
    • Blueberry Jam
    • Strawberry Jam
    • Small Spoon (similar to an infant feeding spoon)
    • Knife

    Directions:

Using the knife, spread each of the crackers with cream cheese. Place either a blueberry or a strawberry in the center. For the crackers with a blueberry in the center, use the small spoon and strawberry jam to carefully draw lines from the blueberry in the center to the outer edge of the cracker. Space lines all the way around the cracker so that it resembles a pinwheel. Repeat the same process with the blueberry jam for the crackers which have a strawberry in the middle.

    Fourth of July "Sushi"

    Ingredients:

    • Red Swedish Fish or Red Twizzler Pieces
    • Blue Fruit by the Foot Rolls (cut in half)
    • Prepared Rice Krispie Treat Mix
    • Butter

    Directions:

Start with one red Swedish Fish or one red Twizzler piece. Butter your hands slightly, to prevent sticking. Using the prepared Rice Krispie Treat mix, shape a small amount around the candy, so that it forms a small disk similar to a hockey puck. (Should be about the size of a half-dollar.) IF you are using the Swedish Fish, you may need to fold it in half a bit. Wrap one half-slice of the blue Fruit by the Foot around the Rice Krispie portion, so that the whole thing resembles a sushi roll.
